Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a unique pop star: a celebrity who has strayed from traditional music into pop culture and became a pop icon that will last forever and conquering everywhere. Swift left country music like it was another layer, showing that she is perhaps the smartest pop-singer/songwriter her generation. One who can harness the current zeitgeist and make it personal and also be able to perform at the opposite. Her talents are evident in some of her earliest tracks, notably the Neodue Tim McGraw. But on the second album Fearless which came out in 2008, Swift discovered who she is and find audiences across the globe. Fearless was successful not only in America, but also with six platinum-certified singles. Its Top Ten songs Love Story & You Belong with Me were the most important reasons. But, it also did very well across the globe. Speak Now delivered almost two years later consolidated that achievement and propelled Swift towards the top of stardom. In the three albums that followed -- Red 2012 1989 2014, as well as Reputation 2017, Swift's popularity only increased. That was an obvious indication that she was in the new music scene where she fit in. Although she slowed down her work with folklore and Evermore releases in 2020 she was still at the forefront of pop music.
