Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress, producer, playwright and teacher for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's dad is from Britain, and her mother is an Turkish Cypriot English expat. She remembers watching her mother working in rehearsals for plays. When she was a kid, she made the rounds in commercials of various kinds. In the month of November, 1999 Anna relocated to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She eventually making the move into Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They became engaged in 2009 when they were married. Anna has since converted to Judaism at the time Seth Cooperman and Anna had been married in December of 2010 in Fredericton.
