Amy Smart was an American model and actress. Born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film, was her first role. After a very difficult struggle, she landed a role as "Starship Troopers" the film Starship Troopers. In the beginning, it was hard for Amy switching from modeling to acting. It's because the majority of models don't have the ability to act. They are typically only given small, insignificant role. Amy did not give up. She made her way to greater roles, starting in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. In the course of a couple of years Amy made the jump into more leading roles. She starred in the 2005 love story Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy attained the fame she had been searching for for more than 10 years, when her movie called Just Friends came out.
